Komatsu is a super-massive rock band from Eindhoven, the rock capital of the Netherlands. Their music is a mix of sludge, stoner rock and metal. Komatsu is praised for their live performances.

UranianWilly: If you weren’t doing what you are doing at the moment, what would you wish to do and why?
Mo Truijens: Right now we are touring in Europe with Mondo Generator. We travel in a luxurious van with full options like a fridge, PlayStation, microwave. What we would wish to do is working from 9 till 5 at the office back home. But sadly we miss the talents for this.
UranianWilly: If I was to turn on your music player right now, what 3 artists/songs would I see on your recently played list?
Mo Truijens: Floor, Luna Sol, Ark Burn the sun.
UranianWilly: If you had a chance to bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?
Mo Truijens: Jesus Christ, because we would like to know how he feels about the way people used his ideas and if it is like he would have done it.
UranianWilly: What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into and did you learn anything from it?
Mo Truijens: Komatsu drives an old van and had a lot of car troubles with it. Almost every show the band had to stop on the highway to call the road service. After a few times we learned the names of all the repairman. We knew the names of their children, their schedule, who had the night-shift and knew all the gossip at the car service. Who is cheating who and stuff like that. So, our shows were made possible by the road service and we even asked for sponsorship.
UranianWilly: What do you like most about the work you are doing in the moment?
Mo Truijens: Aside from performing live, Komatsu love playing the waiting game, which is a big part of being in a band. Komatsu also very much likes loading and unloading the van, looking at empty fridges, the lack of showers and guessing which fart belongs to which band member.

Mo Truijens: No.
UranianWilly: What 3 adjectives would you use to describe your personality (even the weirdest or funny example)?
Mo Truijens: Horny, hungry and not afraid.
UranianWilly: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Mo Truijens: When Smarty dies you will get his suit.
UranianWilly: Ten years from now you will be where or what?
Mo Truijens: Sitting naked in front of the fireplace with mustard on my shoulder.
