Famous10 is the new column on UranianWilly. The idea behind Famous10 is interviewing interesting people, that have influenced our lives or have inspired us in any way. Tommy is surely one of them, so we have decided to interview him first.
Tommy Massara, legendary guitar player of metal band Extrema (http://www.extremateam.com), is the first person we have invited to participate. He is a great guitar expert, who founded the band Extrema back in the 1986. Passionate, true source of energy, amazing on stage and very “human” outside of the stage – that is Tommy.
Here is a chance to get to know him better.

UranianWilly: If you weren’t a musician, what would you be and why?
Tommy: Probably a Graphic Designer or an Interior designer, I don’t know why, probably because I’ve always liked images, pictures and to watch books of architects and interiors.
UranianWilly: What is your favorite thing to see in the audience, while you are on stage?
Tommy: Total unstoppable insanity, when you feel the energy you produce that come back in that form.
UranianWilly: Explain your music/art in 5 words:
Tommy: Fast, Heavy, Intense, Vary, Devastating.
UranianWilly: If you could go open up for any artist on tour/stage right now, who would it be?
Tommy: Right now I’d love to support BLACK SABBATH !
UranianWilly: Which non-musical influences are important to your music?
Tommy: We’ve always told people that any positive or negative thing that somehow hit us it’s an Influence to bring in, for us our Music it’s not only the notes you can write on a Music sheet.
UranianWilly: Are there any songs you have done, that you wish you hadn’t?
Tommy: I was thinking about this in these days and the answer is yes, nowadays there are some songs that i’m happy to have wrote but on the other and I’ll never had to put in some of our album, I don’t tell you which are the songs, it’s my secret.
UranianWilly: If I came to your home and looked inside the refrigerator, what would I find?
Tommy: hahahaha depends by my humor, if the period is relaxed probably it will be full of good food to share with my friend, you know those evenings with people all around doing MasterChef, if the period is like the one I’m passing now there is the minimum just to survive.
UranianWilly: What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into and did you learn anything from it?
Tommy: Well yes sure, the problem with trouble is that you never learn enough to avoid them.
UranianWilly: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Tommy: Speak less and invest your time to reach your goals.
UranianWilly: Ten years from now you will be where or what?
Tommy: Well this is a really tough question, and I really don’t have an answer.
